in outer space a constant net force of magnitude 140 degrees north is exerted on a 32.5 kg probe initially at rest what acceleration does this Force produce and how far does the probe travel in 10.0 seconds

Given That

Force = 140 N

Mass = 32.5 kg

So here we can use Newton's II law to find its acceleration

F = ma

140 = 32.5* a

a = 4.31 m/s^2

Now the probe is initially at rest

so distance covered in 10 s is required which we can find by using kinematics

d = v_i*t + (1)/(2)at^2

d = 0 + (1)/(2)*4.31 * 10^2

d = 215.5 m

so it will cover 215.5 m distance
