Answer: Dutch Reformed Church.

On October 4, 1571, 29 exiled Calvinist leaders gathered in Emden, Germany in what was called the Synod of Emden. In this meeting, the leaders established the rules and doctrines of the Dutch Reformed Church.

This was a reaction to the Reformation, a period of religious persecution by the Catholic Church, particularly that of Spain.

The Church was the largest Christian denomination in the Netherlands from the Reformation until 1930.
