Substitute n with 4 to find d(4):
d(4)=d(4-1)+17
d(4)= d(3)+17=47+ 17= 64
Substitute n with 3 to find d(3):
d(3)= d(2)+17=30+17 =47
Substitute n with 2 to find d(2):
d(2)=d(1)+17= 13+17= 30
The 4th term is 64
