A glass pitcher can hold up to two twelfth’s of a gallon of water. If you pour water into it and 1/5 of the pitcher is full, what fraction of a gallon is full with water?

2 / 12 = 1 / 6 gallon

One fifth of that pitcher = 1 / 30 gallon

2/12=1/6
(1/6)×9=9/6=1.5 gallons
