I agree with the other answer. The answer is, in fact, A. They believed the Church of England had to much power and used it to hurt those with less power.

The main reason they left was because the church was going to execute them because the Pilgrims disagreed and questioned the "authority" of the church, because of this, the church started rumors about the "evil" things the Pilgrims believed in and how they were "demon worshippers," If you ask me Quakers are not "demon worshippers." Which when they left that is mainly why, when they struggled with the natives and famines, they didn't come running back to England. Because if they did they be executed by the church for being a traitor to the church, or worse, be tried as a witch. New flash, they didn't exist and never have. I am not even going to explain how many things are wrong with that.
