One fourth if you divide it by fourths you can easily see your line. (1/4) Or you could find the LCD then add them and then find the number that would make it whole

(2)/(3) + (1)/(10) \\ = ( (2 * 10)/(3 * 10) ) + ( (1 * 3)/(10 * 3) ) \\ = (20)/(30) + (3)/(30) \\ = (23)/(30)
Let whole circle = 10/10

(10)/(10) - (23)/(30) \\ = (10 * 3)/(10 * 3) - (23)/(30) \\ = (30)/(30) - (23)/(30) \\ = (7)/(30)
