A fable is a tale that presents anthropomorphic human-like animals, and it usually provides a moral at the end.
One of the most renowned examples are Aesop's fables, a collection of tales in which mostly animals are the main protagonists who face situations that teach (often children) ethics and values. Some of the fables are: "The Lion and the Mouse", "The Fox and the Lion", or "The Tortoise and the Hare".
