What is the molarity of a solution containing 5.0 moles of kcl in 2.0 l of solution?

Molarity describes the concentration of a substance as measured by the number of moles divided by the volume of the solution it's in.

Now,

We have given that

5.0 moles of kcl

2.0 liters of solution

We have to find the concentration;

Concentration = Moles of solute divided by Volume of solution

= 5.0mole/2.0L

=2.mol/L
