well, it depends on what you believe. if you believe in God, then you believe in a reality..(that we are real and we own ourselves) but, there are conspiracies that we are controlled by a higher techno- world. basically to sum it up, it all depends on what you believe in

Yes, we are real and yes we do exist. Without God there would be no creation or any type of life on earth. So, yes because of God Himself the creator of us we exist.
