First solve for x isolating, to do so subtract .05y from each side leaving the equation as .25x=(-.05y)+4

Then multiply each side by 4 leaving the equation as x= (-.2y)+4

Then isolate do the same to solve for y, start with the equation, 0.25x+0.05y=1.00 subtract .25x from each side leaving the equation as

.05y= (-.25x)+1

Then multiply each side by 20 leaving the equation as y= (-5)+20

So x=(-.2)+4 and y=(-5)+20

Another way to solve this would be to set x equal to 0 and solve for y this gives the equation .05y=1 then divide each side by .05 giving the answer y=20

Then set y equal to 0 leaving the equation .25x=1 then divide each side by .25 leaving the answer as x=4
