Solve for y:


3x+6y=5\ \ \ \ |-3x\\\\6y=-3x+5\ \ \ \ |:6\\\\y=(-3x+5)/(6)

By choosing any value, we calculate the value of y.


x=0\to y=(-3(0)+5)/(6)=(5)/(6)\\\\x=1\to y=(-3(1)+5)/(6)=(2)/(6)=(1)/(3)
