Catal Huyuk is one of the largest and best-preserved Neolithic settlements known to archaeologists located in Turkey.

Archaeologists are using field excavation to collect soil samples, record their findings, and take numerous pictures. They then use Micro morphology to figure out to explore the lifestyles of the people who lived here. Another process is Paleo environment that helps to determine what climate was like. Here signs of cultivation of wheat and barley and breeding of cattle are also found.
