T 1000 k, the equilibrium constant for the reaction 2no (g) + \frac{1}{2} 1 2 o2 (g) arrowrt.Gifcl2 (g) + h2o is kp = 0.013. Calculate kp for the reverse reaction, 2hcl (g) + \frac{1}{2} 1 2 o2 (g) arrowrt.Gifcl2 (g) + h2o (g)

The equilibrium reaction is

2no (g) + \frac{1}{2} 1 2 o2 (g) arrowrt.Gifcl2 (g) + h2o

And Kp for the reaction = 0.013

For reverse reaction the Kp will be inversion of Kp of original reaction

The new Kp' = 1 / Kp

Kp' = 1 / 0.013

Kp' = 76.923
