In a crash test car is driven into solid wall at a speed of 35 mph. Figure below shows the car’s acceleration as it crashes into the wall. What is the maximum force experienced by the 1650kg car?

Net force on the car is given by

`F = ma`

here if acceleration is maximum then force must be maximum

so from graph the maximum value of acceleration is a = 300 m/s^2

`F = 1650 * 300`

`F = 495000 N`

so the maximum force is 495000 N
