How do you solve: 81 X 9^(-2b-2)=27

b=−0.75

If the X means times then this is your answer

Step 1: Divide both sides by 81.

Step 2: Solve Exponent.

b=−0.75

Did you mean

81* 9∧(-2b-2)=27 => First divide whole equation with 81 and get

(3∧2)∧(-2b-2)=1/3 => 3∧(-4b-4)=3∧(-1) => -4b-4=-1 => -4b= -1+4 => -4b=3 =>

we will multiply whole equation with (-1) and get 4b=-3 => b=-(3/4)
