Hey there!
In order for you to solve this equation (mainly for "y" ), you need to
Simply the both sides of your equation, so we will switch it up a little bit!
y + 0.7 = -1.34
Nextly, you have to subtract by 0.7 on each of your sides to find out what the value of "y" is!
y + 0.7 - 0.7 → -1.34 - 0.7
Cancel out: 0.7 - 0.7 because that gives you the result of "0"
Keep: -1.34 - 07 because that gives you your answer
Your answer:
-1.34 - 0.7
Actual answer: -2.04
Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
