3+5n=5(n+2)-7\\\\ 3+5n=5n+10-7\\\\ 3=3\\\\ x\in \mathbb{R}

infinite solutions

expand and simplify the right side of the equation

3 + 5n = 5n + 10 - 7

3 + 5n = 5n + 3

Since both sides of the equation are equal then any value of n will make the equation true.

Thus there are an infinite number of solutions.
