Answer:

Potato: Rich in high carbohydrate content. The Barfoed test can be used.

Red meats: Rich in high protein content. The Biuret method can be used.

Butter: High lipid content. To identify, the fatty acid saponification test can be done.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Barfoed test allows the possibility of identifying monosaccharides. His test is based on the reduction of copper II to copper I, producing a brick red precipitate.

Biuret's method is based on the fact that an alkaline solution Cu II reacts with the binding of proteins producing a purple color that is quantified spectrophotometrically.

The saponification of fatty acids in food, the main function is the production of a soap that, by titration with some acid, can calculate the amount of lipids in the food.

I assume this question is about macro molecule test in food.

Potato contains high amount of carbohydrate and will show a positive result on iodine(Benedict's solution) test.

Sausages is made of meat that contains high amount of protein so it will show positive result on biuret test.

Almond and many nuts will have high amount of lipid so it will show positive result on fat test(Sudan III).
