The answer to your problem: x = - 11

Work:

4x - 2 ( x + 1 ) = 3x + 10

4x - 2x -1 = 3x + 10

2x - 1 = 3x + 10

-1 = x + 10

x = -11


I don't see -11 as one of your answer choices, is the last one -11? I'll edit this out if this isn't correct for other people to view the answer.

4x-2(x+1)=3x+10

4x - 2x - 2 = 3x + 10

2x - 2 = 3x + 10

3x - 2x = -2 - 10

x = - 12

Answer is

-12
