Keenan currently does a total of 888 pushups each day. He plans to increase the number of pushups he does each day by 222 pushups until he is doing a total of 303030 pushups each day. Which equation can we use to determine xxx, the number of days that it will take Keenan to reach his goal?

888+222x=303030 *and to solve*

-888 =888 subtract 888 to isolate x

222x=302142

222/222x= 302142 divide by 222

x=1361.

It will take Keenan 1,361 days to get to his goals of 303,030 push ups.

hope it helps!

Answer:

8 + 2x = 30

Explanation:

Given,

The initial number of push-ups he does in each day = 8,

And, the number of push-ups, he increases per day = 2,

Let x be the number of days after he will reach his target of 30 push-ups,

Since, the number of push-ups she will increase in x days = 2x,

Thus, the number of push-ups she will do after x days = 8 + 2x,

8 + 2x = 30,

Which is the required equation.
