A person from Quebec is traveling in France. When someone bumps into him, he says, “C’est correct” to mean, “It’s okay. “ however the French person is confused. Why?

Because in France they say ça va or c’est pas grave

Canadian French is different from traditional French. The traditional French way to say "it's okay" would be "Ça va".
