It called for three branches of government - Constitutional monarchy, Parliament, and a "supreme court". (The US also has 3 branches, Executive branch, Legislative branch, and Judicial branch)

It limited the power of government. - Laws cannot be turned over without Parliament's consent. (Laws cannot be overturned without consent from the Supreme Court for the US).

It provided a list of rights that applied to all citizens. - After all, it is the British bill of "rights", like the US constitution, they list rights each and every citizen have.
