Michael might score highly in what Sternberg calls "practical" intelligence.

We can define practical intelligence as an experience-based collection of aptitudes and unequivocal learning and also the capacity to apply that information to tackle each day issues. Practical intelligence can be alluded to as "know-how" or basic sense.Practical intelligence is the consequence of a trial hands-on working style that prompts particular learning. "Those with high commonsense insight have a tendency to create helpful information by doing and learning, not by watching or perusing.

I believe the answer is: practical

practical intelligence refers to a form of intelligence that is created by experiencing a certain things directly rather than observing it. Example of this would be intelligence needed to be good at soccer. You would not be a great soccer player by watching the professional game. You would be great at it if you practice the soccer over and over again.
