Solve ax+by=c for y. Thanks!

i did this one earlier so it is

ax+by=c

so ax+by-ax=c-ax

so by=c-ax

then divide both sides by b by/b=c-ax/b

y=c-ax/b

subtract ax from both sides then divide by b on both sides

c-ax/b=y
