Multiply 9 by 0.25 (make 25% into a decimal)
$9.00 x 0.25 = $2.25
So, you’d save $2.25
To go further...
Subtract that product from the original price and the answer to that is how much you’d get the cake for.
$9.00 - $2.25 = $6.75
