As we know that the height of a plant grows continuously over a span of time.

Hence, the graph of this situation will be continuous.

  • Amount of fuel and distance traveled.

Since, the amount of the fuel required over a distance will be continuous and the fuel used could be in decimals not necessarily in integers.

Hence, we will get a continuous graph for this situation.

  • Amount of chairs for each table.

As we know that the amount of chairs are always required as a whole.
