Determine whether this statement is true or false. If false, identify the correct explanation.

If an angle is obtuse, then its supplement is greater than a right angle.

Hello!

The statement is false. Two angles are supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees. An obtuse angle is greater than a right angle, which is 90 degrees, so its supplement has to be smaller than 90 degrees.
