rise over run

(-1,2) (2,2)

2-2/2-(-1)

2-2/2+1 equals 0/3

or alternatively

2-2/-1 - 2 which would be -0/3.

Whichever point is the first helps determine this alot

rise/run=rise over run= y2 - y1/ x2 - x1

given: (x1 , y1)= (2,2) and (X2,y2)= (-1,-2)

then using slope formula:
∆y/∆x= (y2-y1 / x2-x1)= (-2-2 / -1-2)= (-4/-3)= (4/3)

hence 4/3 is the slope of the line
