I believe the answer is true

Cortisol is a hormone that released during stress condition. It has various effect on the body, immune suppression is one of them. That is why body that under stress for long will prone to many disease. Administering corticosteroid drug could also induce the production of cortisol. Long term usage of corticosteroid should be avoided if not necessarily because will cause secondary immunodeficiency
