Can someone please help me to answer this question.

An electrician cuts the following lengths from a roll of 12 gauge wire with red insulation: 8, 15, 15, and 21 feet. How many feet of wire did she use?

add 8+15+15+21

that should give you 59

(8 feet) + (15 feet) + (15 feet) + (21 feet) =

(8 + 15 + 15 + 21) (feet) = 59 feet.

The answer is the same even if it's 30 gauge wire with orange insulation. Or any other gauge, with any other color ... even bare wire !
