Since line l is a bisector, both sides of the line are equal.

3x+15 = 8x+25

Now solve for X:

Subtract 15 from each side:

3x = 8x +10

Subtract 8X from each side:

-5X = 10

Divide both sides by -5

X = 10 / -5

X = -2

Now replace X with -2 to solve the equation for JM:

3(-2) +15 =

-6 + 15 = 9

JM = 9
