Order of operations is Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (left to right), Addition and Subtraction (left to right)

7 + 6[-2] - 5

First, multiplication. Multiply 6 by -2. You get -12

7 - 12 - 5

Now, all that’s left is subtraction. Subtract from left to right, so subtract 7 and 12 first. 7-12= -5

-5 - 5

Now just solve the rest of it. -5 minus 5 is -10.

The final answer is -10

Hope this helps.
