We use the kinematic equation of motion,

s= ut + (1)/(2) a t^2

Here, s is displacement, u is initial velocity, a is acceleration and t is time.

Given
a = 4.3 \ m/s^2 ,
t =2.05 s .

We take,
u = 0 because object starts from rest.

Substituting these values in above equation, we get

s = 0 * 2.05 \ s + (1)/(2) (4.3 \ m/s^2)(2.05 \ s)^2 \\\\ s = 9.0 \ m.

Therefore, displacement of object from starting position is 9 m.
