You have to use PEMDAS in order to simplify it:


  • 3 + 4 * 6 (10 - 8)
  • As you can see P goes first:

  • 10 - 8 = 2

  • 3+4* 6* 2
  • M would go next:

  • 4 * 6 = 24 * 2 = 48

  • 3 + 48

Therefore the simplify version of this equation is "3+48."
