The last item included in the United States Declaration of Independence is "B. Statement declaring that the colonies were cutting all ties with their parent country.
There are four parts in the Declaration of Independece:
- The preamble section, in which the right to revolt is stated.
- The list of natural and unalienable rights, which are the ones that all men are born with such as the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
- The list of grievances, listing all the ways King Geroge III, the King of England, failed to protect the right of the colonists.
- Resolution of Independence, which officially declares the colonies free from England.
