Answer:

Lines concerning latitude and longitude are applied to determine places on Earth.

Step-by-step explanation:

Latitude and longitude are hypothetical(unreal) mark drawn on maps to quickly locate regions on the Earth. Latitude is range north or south of the equator (an illusory circle encompassing the Earth halfway among the North Pole and the South Pole) and longitude is range east or west of the principal meridian (an imaginative line going from north to south by Greenwich, England). Both are estimated in terms of the 360 degrees (expressed by °) of a round.

The coordinate system that is based on the spinning Earth identifies the poles. With latitude and longitude basing on the poles and the equator, a global address can be determined. Any location on Earth can be assigned latitude and longitude coordinates. Latitude and Longitude grid shows vertical and horizontal lines that intersect-- with every point detailed by north/south and east/west degrees. Because these degrees are communicated in numbers, all people no matter the language can understand it. Both latitude and longitude is needed to create an intersection and determine a precise location.
