Answer: There are approximately 9 loads.

Explanation:

Number of tons the cement weigh is given by

6(1)/(3)\ tons\\=(19)/(3)

Weight of each load =
(3)/(4)\ tons

So, Number of tons is given by

\frac{\text{Weight of cement}}{\text{weight of each load}}\\\\=((19)/(3))/((3)/(4))\\\\=(19)/(3)* (4)/(3)\\\\=(76)/(9)\\\\=8.4\\\\\approx 9\ loads

Hence, there are approximately 9 loads.

Convert the 6 1/3 tons into an improper fraction:

6 1/3 = 19/3 tons.

Divide 19/3 tons by 3/4 tons per load:

19/3 / 3/4 = 19/3 * 4/3 = 76/9 = 8.4, so it will take 9 trips.
