Explanation:

take an hour, which is 60 minutes and 3/4 of an hour is 45

Divide 60 by 4, which will give you the answer for 1/4 of an hour (aka one quarter) Then you'd take that (which is 15) and multiply it 3 times, thus giving you 45.

Equation style:

60/4=15

15 x 3= 45
