Sociologist Joel best opposes the idea that crime happens randomly. Which of the following is not one of the reason he is in opposition

Crime is typically very patterned

Most crime is committed to accomplish a purpose rather than just randomly

Crime is typically not patterned

I believe the answer is: Crime is typically Not patterned.

It is the other way around, crime is usually leave similar pattern regardless of who were caught doing it. For example, for robbery , most of the perpetrators are predominantly belong in lower income bracket. Sociologist correlate the pressure to fulfill their basic needs as a catalyst that push them to do the criminal act.
