4.8 is not an integer. The notion of prime factorization is generally applied only to integers.

_____

You can find the prime factorization of its reduced improper fraction:

24/5 = (2×2×2×3)/5

This factorization can be useful when finding GCF or LCM of this number and other (proper or improper) fractions and/or integers.
