Use the table below to find (FoG)(1)

x 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
f(x) 5 7 9 11 13 15 17 19

In this question we have a table given , and using that table , we have to find the value of (fog)(1) .

First we have to see what (fog)(1) means.

(fog)(1) indicates f(g(1)). So first we have to find the value of g(1) . That is , the value of g(x) at x=1, which is 6.

So g(1) is 6. Therefore
f(g(1)) = f(6)=17

And hence the value of (fog)(1) is 17. And that's the answer .
