y=mx+b\\\\m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

We have:

(1,\ 5)\to x_1=1,\ y_1=5\\(2,\ 2)\to x_2=2,\ y_2=2

Susbstitute:

m=(2-5)/(2-1)=(-3)/(1)=-3

y=-3x+b

Susbtitute the coordinates of the point (2, 2) to the equation:

2=(-3)(2)+b\\\\2=-6+b\ \ \ \ |+6\\\\b=8

Answer: y = -3x + 8
