What is the point-slope form and the slope-intercept form of the to points (7,-4) and (-1,3)

Point slope form is also referred to as rise over run or m-change in y/m-change in x.

so heres point slope form. (7, -4) (-1, 3....) 3- (-4)/-1 - 7 which simplified (for yours and mines sake) 3+4/-1 - 7. Use this to find the slope.

Slope-intercept form: y=mx+b. Slope=m=rise/run (the equation above), b=y intercept (the point where the line crosses/intercepts the y-axis line)

So to get slope-intercept form you just need to dot he point-slope form equation (which i laid out for you above) and whatever that is, plug it into the m spot in slope-intercept. then find the spot on the line that crosses a point on the y-axis lie and plug that into b.
