A perpendicular bisector is perpendicular to the line that is it makes and angle of 90 degrees with the line and also bisects the line that is divides the line in two equal parts.

A line segment PQ is given to us which is 60 cm long.If a perpendicular bisector is drawn then it will divided the line in two equal parts .60÷2=30.

Hence there will be two segments of the line both of 30 cm.
