The French and Indian War that began in the year 1754, was the North American struggle in an open hegemonic war between France and Great Britain which is most commonly known as the Seven Year's War.
The war between French and India began in 1754 and the Treaty of Paris put an end to this war in 1763. This war provided Great Britain with immense territorial profits in North America, but disputes over following the frontier plan and paying the war’s losses led to colonial dissatisfaction, and eventually to the Revolution of America.
