Let's check
3/8=3×125/8×125=375/1000=0.375
So
6-3/8
6+3/8
6+0.375
6.375
Hence he is wrong

Answer: No
Explanation:
1. Divide the numerator (3) by the denominator (8) to convert it into a decimal. (3÷8=0.375)
2. Add the 6 back to get the answer. (6+0.375=6.375)
