Select "Freedom of Religion" and then Syria and/or Iran (they are in southwest Asia, just east of Africa). In what way are those countries' protections of the freedom of religion different than the US's first amendment protections? In what ways are those two countries similar to the US?

Answer:

Iran and Syria are very different. Syria is a country with freedom to practice religion. On the other hand Iran is a country with a state of religion of Shia Islam which are against Non-Sunni Muslims and Sunni Muslims. Both countries are similar to the U.S because they all have the right to show their religions. However, they are different because Iran is against some religions.

Iran and Syria are completely different from one another in terms of Freedom of Religion. Iran is a country with a state religion of Shia Islam which is not only against Non-Muslims but also against Sunni Muslims.

Syria on the other hand is a secular country with no state religion and complete freedom to practice religion.

Syria is more similar to the United States in providing more freedome of religion, while Iran does not provide freedom to people of Sunni Islam or Bahai' faith.
