f(x) = 2x; g(x) = 3x^2 + 1

(f x g)(4) is 2x(3x^2 + 1)

2x(3x^2 + 1)

6x^3 + 2x

6(4)^3 + 2(4)

6(64) + 8

384 + 8

392
