The equation is undefined where the denominator equals 0, the argument of an even indexed radical is less than 0, or the argument of a logarithm is less than or equal to 0.

Since 1/3 is the same as 3^-1 , we can say
3^x=3^-1(x+3)
Which is 3^x=3^-x+3
X=-x-3
2x=-3
x=-3/2
