You have to only use prime numbers when you divide. So that your answer will lead to a prime number. There are different ways of doing it but this is my method. Hope it helps xx

How to express 48 as a product of prime factors. Note to only divide by primes

48/2 = 24

24/2 = 12

12/2 = 6

6/2 = 3

3, 2, 2, 2, 2 are the numbers used.

48 = 3 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 is your answer
